The QS division has been accredited with the International Cost Engineering Council (ICEC) since 2000.

SISV (QS) members who are interested in adding the title "ICECA" to their post-nominals of MSISV or FSISV should apply to the SISV CPD committee for certification.

1. Who can apply for the ICEC title?

   Only Members or Fellows who have achieved an aggregate of 60 CPD points over a 3-year period can apply for the ICECA certification.

2. How do I apply for the ICECA title?
   
   1. A member who achieves the 60 CPD points over a 3-year period can apply to SISV for an ICEC certification by clicking on this Form
   2. SISV will verify the records and upon successful verification, the Certificate of Achievement (of CPD) will be issued to the member.
   3. This certificate will declare that the member has successfully completed a 3-year CPD programme and is entitled to use the initials ICECA immediately following his/her institute's post-nominals.

3. When does the ICEC certification expire?

   The ICECA certification is valid for 3 years, and the validity period will be reflected in the Certificate of Achievement when it is issued to the applicant.
